Surrounded by world heritage listed lamington national park with 147 km of walking tracks starting from your door. The house is 90 minutes south of brisbane or one hour from the gold coast airport.

You can relax totally in the house you don’t have to go far to enjoy the scenery! Dozens of waterfalls, subtropical rain forest, ancient Antarctic beech trees, unfold eucalypti forest and heath country with wildflowers in Spring. Views from mountain lookouts, wind eroded caves, 180 species of birds and bashful bush animals. Alcheringa is an architect designed, four bedroom, three bathroom house built with stone, timber and glass. The mufti smooth design provides views north over the Numinbah and Coomera Valleys from almost every room even the laundry has a sensational view. The spacious valley deck gives eye popping views of two valleys and the Beechmont Plateau while the forest deck on the southern side of the house provides a chilly spot in summer for reading or lounging or a second outdoor dining area. Alcheringa Too is a smaller house on the equivalent ridge with a spacious livingeatingsleeping area, indoor shower and toilet plus an outdoor Asian style shower space. It can accommodate two in one king bed and it also has all the cooking eating utensils and equipment you could need. The spacious deck overlooks the valleys and is the place for outdoor dining or lounging. Four vast friends catching up together, appropriate food, appropriate music, glasses and glasses of wine on the deck with outrageous view. Is it conceivable to defeat your heart to a house? This was a spectacular place to visit!The owner went out of his way to accommodate us on concise notice and we were rewarded on the end day by waking up early to find a koala with a baby in the tree on the deck in fore of the house!The views were gorgeous, the birdlike exciting and impartial the maximum relaxing and serene deposit to enjoy!Lots of huge book swish we could stay a month! There was sufficient of space for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had the pastime of staying at Alcheringa for our annual girls get together. There was lots of laughter, loads of good food prepared in the big well appointed kitchen and a scanty glasses of wine enjoyed while mixed with the pretty scenery and bird life. The bush walks are amazing and cater for all levels of fitness. This would also be a immense place for families or as a couples retreat. September to October is for bird lovers with the satin bower birds building their courting bowers, the dawn chorus of bird calls at its most insistent and of course wildflowers are blooming in the heath country on the Dave’s Creek Walk (one of the superior vegetation walks in Queensland.). It takes at least a week to appreciate all the walks on this side of Lamington National Park. Taste your own meals from the spacious kitchen which is equipped with every cooking utensil and equipment you could need. Take a picnic lunch to a mountain lookout or waterfall. Gaze at the views from every room watch the changing weather as clouds sweep up from the valley stargaze from the heated outdoor spa. Both houses have excellent book, CD and video libraries and a TV set with video player (when was the end time you listened to a stuffed length symphony in fore of the fire?). One side of the bathhouse has three outdoor showers and the opposite side overlooks the valleys.
